Ingredients:
for the crust:
● 300 grams flour
● 1 tsp baking powder
● 235 grams butter
● 65 grams sugar
● 1 pinch salt
● 3 tbsp cocoa powder
for the filling:
● 3 eggs
● 125 ml cream
● 125 ml milk
● 100 grams sugar
● 100 grams ground almonds
● 100 grams ground hazelnuts
● 50 grams dark chocolate, coarsely chopped
● 1.5 tbsp ground cinnamon
● 3 tbsp cocoa powder
● 0.5 tsp baking powder
Directions:
Mix flour, baking powder, butter, sugar and salt and process into a dough. Grease a 10 inch springform and spread dough into the form. PWith your fingers create a 2cm high frame of dough. Bake at 200°C for about 10 minutes. In the meantime beat eggs, cream, milk, sugar, salt, almonds, hazelnuts, chocolate, cinnamon and cocoa powder until you receive a homogenous liquid mix. Pour this mix into the spring form and bake until finished – about 45-50 minutes. Once cooled, decorate with confectioners sugar.

Hi, thank you for a lovely recipe! I just made it and my husband loves it. I love cakes made with nut flours, not so common in the US. Is the crust a bit of a pate sable? Mine was very crumbly and difficult to press into my springform. Your blog is beautiful!

great you like this recipe. It’s a family recipe, so that makes me even more happy. And yes, the crust is very crumbly, and I always struggle pressing it down into the spring form.
